The City of Taguig and Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. (BAFI) launched The Mind Museum at the J. Y. Campos Park, Bonifacio Global City on 6 August 2010.

 BAFI board members, Mayor Lani Cayetano and councilors: Aurelio R. Bartolome, Michelle B. Gonzales and Jeffrey B. Morales of Western Bicutan; Estela A. Gasgonia of Signal; Rodil C. Marcelino of Ususan; and Councilor Milagros F. Valencia of Upper Bicutan expressed their commitment to this essential partnership. Senator Alan Peter Cayetano and City Assessor Frankie Endriga also graced the occasion and lent their support to building the Philippines' first world-class science museum.

The museum will welcome visitors in December 2011.
